The house is furnished with antiques refurbished by Kevin Horne and decorated with other period-specific items by his wife, Melissa.	The grounds feature over sixteen mature pecan trees and lush flower beds throughout.
There are 8 fireplaces with original mantels and a restored slave stairwell leading to the attic.	Original antique wallpaper and light fixtures throughout the house show its distinctive character.
